Kavala (Greek: Καβάλα, Kavála [kaˈvala]) is
a city in northern Greece, the principal
seaport of eastern Macedonia and the capital
of Kavala regional unit.

Its geographical location, its natural port and
its adjacency with gold-bearing Mt Pangaion
make Kavala one of the oldest coastal cities
in the area, with its traces being lost in the
depths of prehistory.

A “Blue city” with crystal-clear coasts, world
heritage monuments, dreamy views,
Mediterranean cuisine, relaxed walks, nearby
getaways to the islands, picturesque villages
and mountains. Built amphitheatrically along
the length of the sea, at the crossroads of
East and West.

Palio (Tsifliki ) in the suburbs of Kavala has
an impressive coastline of over 65 km in
length, in this region sand dunes, golden
sandy beaches and beautiful little bays with
calm waters and fine sands can be found.
